Greetings to you in the Lord!

It is my privilege to welcome you to this web site on behalf of the members of First Mission Baptist Church, a kingdom-driven church for a grace-needing world.  What this means is that at First Mission Baptist, you'll find a congregation whose purpose is to:

• Grow in the love of Christ
• Reach in the name of Christ
• Affirm in the body of Christ
• Care in the nature of Christ
• Exalt in the glory of Christ.

As a growing body of Christ that has been active in the Jefferson Parish area for more than seventy years, it would be our sincere pleasure to have you join us at First Mission sometime in the near future.  Some of our ministry programs include:

• Bible study for all ages at 7:00 p.m each Thursday
• Both comtemporary and traditional (11:00 a.m.) worship service
• A music ministry including choral group
• An active and growing ministry to teens and youths, and much more!

First Mission is a busy place!  We believe God has called and equipped us to serve the people of our area in His name.  It would be our joy to have an occasion to minister to you in some way.
